Our pipeline of abundance
As gratitude begins to take on a new meaning in our lives, we can begin to gain a greater understanding of how we benefit so greatly.
Take for example a pipe. The more clogged it gets, the less will be able to pass through. But as soon as it begins to unclog, ever so slightly, a greater amount is able to move on down.
Our abundance and blessings work in a similar fashion. They are sent down to us through a ‘pipe’ that connects us to G-d.
As we go through life and find ourselves in various challenges, we are faced with two options. One is to complain and pout our way through. Their other option is to grab it by the horns and run, growing closer to G-d through gratitude and turning to Him for guidance.
Option number one will begin to clog our pipes as the complaints dig us deeper in our difficulties. Withholding the flow, if not denying it altogether.
Option two will raise us up as our gratitude and growth rise up to heaven. Unclogging our pipe and allowing even more abundance and blessing to flow downward.
When faced with any challenge, difficulty, or even uncertainty – gratitude has the ability to sweeten it all and allow blessing to come forth.
