Obsessed with G-d
As we approach the end of a 40-day journey of gratitude, we focus our last lessons on understanding what we have accomplished and what we aim for the future. And the simple goal in all of this is becoming ‘obsessed with g-d’.
What does being obsessed with G-d really mean?
When we put all of which we have learned into a daily practice. Like being mindful of our thank you’s, personal prayer and speaking with g-d, replacing anxiety with faith and gratitude. We find that these things replace our usual brain function and the way we view our life. Completely transforming our minds. Instead of seeing things as natural causes, we now added godliness and spirituality to everything we feel, think and go through.
This is what Rebbe Nachman of Breslev teaches us, that the true remedy is not changing events but it is changing the way we view the things we go through. Changing the lens from a lens of confusion to acceptance and faith. From complaint to thankfulness.
When we merit to go along this path every day. Slowly, with time, we will turn back and see how much we have completely changed. How our minds are totally different, which means we are different. Everything will have faith and prayer attached to it. Every move we make will have a word with g-d, a small prayer or a thank you.
It is important to remember that this is our life’s work. Do not be alarmed when it is difficult to keep this up.
That is the only way we grow faith. Ups and downs are the most necessary recipe for our success.
40 days. 100 thank You’s a day. Change your love. See miracles.
